Department of artificial kidneys or the so-called dialysis of the clinical medical branches that are concerned with training students on how to do artificial dialysis through a special device designed to replace the natural kidney that has lost the ability to do its normal work and is dialysis through the use of intravenous solutions prepared for the process of washing and purification of blood from harmful residues, which are a natural product of metabolic processes inside the body, which are mostly uric acid (urea) and creatinine as well as the removal of toxic substances and excess water Add to dissolved substances and salts from the blood of people who are unable to perform such functions normally, which are often called chronic and acute kidney failure .

                                             Duration of academic study

The duration of study in the department is 4 calendar years, the student receives basic and specialized theoretical information with practical training to acquire the necessary skills to work in artificial kidney centers.

After completing the study requirements, the department grants a bachelor's degree in industrial college techniques (an industrial kidney technician qualified to work in dialysis centers in the health departments).

The college follows the academic curriculum based on solid scientific rules that meet the requirements and needs of society in the current situation, which qualifies the student and gives him clinical skills to work in hospital lobbies in general and artificial kidney centers in particular after graduation.
